The American College of Medical:Scholarship Fund Inc.

The American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE) Scholarship Fund Inc.

The ACMPE Scholarship Fund Inc. supports and promotes health care leaders' personal and professional growth toward the advancement of the profession. The program supports individuals who, by virtue of experience, current position and plans demonstrate potential for contributing to the medical practice management profession.

Application deadline: May 1 of each year

Students must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program relevant to medical practice management, including public health, business administration, health care administration and other related areas.

The scholarships are not intended to support individuals pursuing degrees in:

  • medicine
  • physical therapy
  • nursing or
  • other clinically related professions

To be eligible to receive a scholarship in 2008, students must be enrolled in a degree program for the 2008-2009 academic year.

Scholarship award amounts range from $1,000 to $5,000. Payments for undergraduate and graduate scholarships are sent directly to the university or college in which the individual is or will be enrolled.

Check the scholarship list, including the new Andrea M. Rossiter, FACMPE Scholarship, to determine your eligibility for the scholarships you wish to pursue.

To apply, complete the online application, using access key: ACMPE. In addition to the online application, you will be asked to submit by mail:

  • a recent UNOFFICIAL academic transcript;
  • a current resume;
  • two reference letters; and
  • for students recently accepted, documentation indicating acceptance into a graduate or undergraduate college or university.
