Postdoc Positions in Computational Biology, University of California, Los Angeles

Postdoctoral positions are available at UCLA to work in computational biology of pre-mRNA splicing and gene expression. Our lab combines genome-wide computational and experimental approaches in the areas of molecular biology, genomics, systems biology and bioinformatics. Successful applicants should meet some combination of the following aspects: excellent programming/scripting skills, experience in bioinformatics, biostatistics and/or genomic data analysis, and knowledge of basic biology.

We are seeking excellent candidates who are highly motivated and career-oriented. The University of California, Los Angeles, is a preeminent public university in the country. The Molecular Biology Institute building, where the postdoctoral position will be located, is one of the primary loci of biomedical research on campus.
