Applications are invited for PhD studentships in Biological Physics Group, School of Physics and Astronomy, the University of Manchester in the following areas:
(1) Biophysical modelling to investigate the functional impacts of gene mutations on cardiac arrhythmogenesis.
(2) Biophysical investigation of effects of surfactant nanostructural environment on the uptake of drug molecules.
(3) Interfacial nano-structure and solution self-assembly of designed peptide surfactants
(4) Controlled interfacial assembly of nanoparticles from nano-fluids
Each studentship cover 3 year tuition fees and living expenses. Applicants should hold or are expecting a 1st or 2(i) degree (or equivalent) in a relevant physical/biological or computing science subject.
Application
